And weighs around 55 kilo grams.

Personality:

Shalisa is a complex young woman. She is very romantic, and love the little things in life, like a flower or the stars in the nightsky. She dosent have many friends. The friends she have made in the past were mostly dryads, pixies, and other magical beings of the forrest or in the sky above it.

She is kinda shy at first, but her natural curiosity quickly kills what ever reservations she has. When she becomes your friend you have a friends for life with a heart of gold. She will stand up for you and defend you to the last drop of blood, with a fury the world seldom sees. Injustices and evilness make her blood boil in her vaines.

When that is said she is a gentle and easygoing young woman who is always up for a good adventure and a prank or two, as long as nobody is getting hurt.

She dosnt quite get everything in the human and elve world just yet so sometimes she can do or say things without knowing that it will hurt other peoples feelings.

History:

Shalias story does not start with her birth. To know the story of Shalisa we have to go back to the beginning. Back to Anthonya and Lyon.

Anthonya was a fighsty young woman with long cestnut coloured hair and eyes as darkgrey as a storm cloud. Honor, truth, and goodness was her way of life. She came from a farmers family. With a bunce of sisters and brothers the “silent” academy was heaven for her, and here she was able to evolve her personality without drowning in dipers and cowshit.

When she had made up her mind she usualy got what she wanted and she wanted to be a batleflag of the good. A dragonrider she became, but she got a silverdragon, a decision that raised a few brows. A golden dragon – people said, a golden dragon is for Anthonya. But if she had gotten that golden dragon, then she would never had met Lyon, and then there would be nothing to write about.

Maybe it was destiny who had something to say way back then.

She met her silverdragon Lyon, and they got along from day one. Over the years there relasionship got warmer and deeper than ever, and the friendship slowly turned into a passioned flaming love. Anthonya, being the passioned woman that she was, was not surpriced when she shortly afterwards became pregnant. Could it be done? She had never heard of a child between a human and a dragon before?

It didn’t take long before they both realised something was wrong. Only a few months into the pregnancy Anthony began to bleed. She had a spontanius abortion, and the feates was horribly deform. A wing and an arm was melted together with a tail that was bended backwards. The little child looked like it had been stuck somewhere between two forms and melted. Anthonya cried for many days, of chock and mourning. Lyon was silent but pasing back and forth like a trapped animal.

A cuple of years later she became pregnant again. Lyon took her to his clan, and in a twoday long magical ritual they captured the child ind its human form, still inside Anthonyas womb. Anthonya was glowing like the sun, and it seems that their family was finaly perfect. But all good things must come to an end, and even thoug Shalisa was not even born yet, her life was allready full of drama.

On a nightly flight over a unknown forrest, Lyon and Anthonya was attacked. The green dragon ambushed them from outa nowhere, and afraid for the life of his unborn child, Lyon hesitated a moment to long. Anthonya was riped from his back of a giant fireball and screaming and drowning in flames she felled towards the ground.

He managed to catch her and put out the flames before she was crushed against the ground, but the damage was inreversible. Only a small spark of the once so bright lifeflame was left in the burned woman in his claws. He Fleed. Home to his clan. And the minut before they landed Anthonya finaly stopped breathing and was taken home by her god Helm.

Lyon was roaring and crying like wipped when he graped a knife and cut open her womb. Inside there was kinda of an eag. Its was soft like leather and seathrough, and inside the eaglike membrane his little daughter was still developing and unharmed. By the help from the other 7 dragons in his clan Lyon managed to keep the babygirl alive inside the eag. They could all see the magic flowing around in the water around the little girl keeping her alive, and creating something never seen before in the history of dragons. A hybrid.

When Shalisa was finaly born it was to the song of 8 silverdragons. She didn’t cry when born, because though infant, she had the intelligence of a dragon, and had for 2 months seen her strange family throug the membrane.

If I was supossed to write the strange upbringing of Shalisa it could fill many books. She saw, heard, and met many strange things. Her heart was that of an silverdragon, and she chose to be a healer of animals and creatures of the Crystalforrest where they lived.

The forrestelves helped with her upbrining, and so did the creatures of the forrest.

The fostering of Shalisa:

This is the story about how the woodelves of the Crystalforrest came to help with the upbringing of the little halfdragon Shalisa.

Actually we have to go back a bit again to before she was born to get the full understanding, so have patience.

The Goddess Berronar Truesilver had for a long time been annoyed with the fact that she was only worshipped by the dwarves. She was irritated that other gods got the thanks for her help in assisting the midwifes and healers.

For many many years the goddess mumbled and grumbled and thought of what to do, but couldn’t come up with a solid plan. That was until the dragons desperate cries reached her ears.

Here her chance was to change her situation! Eagerly she rushed to the scene where a babygirl inside an egg was still alive but loosing her life as fast as water runs through fingers.

For a brief moment Berronar stopped time in the mountainside and had a long discution with the dragons. It took about 23 and a half day, but finally they agreed. They would learn Shalisa about the ways of Truesilver, and give her the purpose of healing in her life, and in return Berronar would let her live, and make her way in life easyer.

When Truesilver helped the dragons capture the magic in the birthwater, the little girl open her eyes, and two bright silver orbes caught Truesilvers eyes. For a long time they just looked at each other, and when Truesilver finaly – a bit spooked – turned away, she had the feeling of greatness in the infant.

What she saw in the child she never spoke of, but Truesilver never regretted her decision.

When Shalisa became about 3 years old it became very clear that she needed something more than what the dragons could give her. She needed the company of children to run with, and play with, and a society bigger than 8 silverdragons, no matter how much a love they had for her.

Lyon went to the woodelves of the Crystalforrest – the forrest surrounding the mountain the lived on and pleaded them to help with the upbringing. But they would hear of no such thing – she was a dragon? A Human? A humandragon? They would have nothing to do with such a child!

Lyon – desperate – turned to the goddess who promised his daughter an easy life. Truesilver would not convince the dwarves to take her to their bosoms. She had no use for another clerk under ground. But she had a plan.

For many thousand years ago the dwarves made the woodelves a city in the Crystalforrest. A city of rock and wood. They melted the stone and the living trees together and a city who would keep growing as long as the ancient roots still had life deep in the soil.

The city became magnificent and the dwarves never wanted anything in return, the where just proud to be the makers of a living city, that grew under ground as well as above it for each passing year.

The king of the woodelves had for many years tried to figure out how to repay the dwarves but what could make up for something like the magical growing city?

Truesilver went to the dwarves and told them her wish. The dwarves was first resistant to the fact that they kinda had to be forced to make a deal with the elves, but after threatening the whole healtsystem in the dwarven society, they finally gave in.

The dwarves asked of the woodelves to foster Shalisa as her family with the dragons, in return for the city – now called The Crystal Grove. The elveking had a hard time to swallow that kind of a deal, on a matter he already turned down, but in the end he gave in. That way they wouldn’t owe the dwarves anything anymore, and they had won the favour of the silverdragons AND the dwarven goddess of healing – it couldn’t be all bad now could it?

When Shalisa became 12 Lyon realised that his daugther was isolated from the real world. She had not even seen a human yet. Though it was breaking his heart he started to learn her about the world and the art of swordfighting. He wanted to sent her to the academy – to see and live in the world.

Lyon himself had withdrawn from the world. The loss of his first child, and then later his only love had left him like a shadow of his former self. After long arguments and frases like “you are killing her with kindness” and “Or you could lock her inside a dungeon and toss the key into the ocean” he was letting the world get what was left of his heart.

He gave Shalia the jewlery her mother had worn – a silvermoon in a chain to hang from her forehead. Therefor she took the lastname silvermoon. Humans and elves did that thing with two names.

Shalisa didn’t want to go and looked back many times when the forrest elves came to take her to the limit of the forrest. In hiding different creatures followed her all the way from the Crystalforrest and to the school – reporting to Lyon how his daugther was doing, and keeping Shalisa compagny.

Now she was standing outside the very tall and intimidating walls, ready to begin a whole new chapter of her life. How would mankind and elves outside the crystalforrest greet her?

With a lump in her througt she raised her hand and knocked on the giant gate three times…

Weapons:
An old sword given to her grandfather (On the Dragonside) eons ago. The sword is a iceflame sword. The tale goes that the 5 swords of the iceflames have the powers of the silverdragons. And by pointing at the enemy you can make them into ice. How much of the tale is made up and how much is true? Shalia is not sure, but she havent found the way to turn on the magical powers in the sword – if it has any at all. But it reminds her of home, and family and is very dear to her.

Two small silverdaggers. She uses them mostly to gather her herbs. They are ecstremly sharp and can split a hair of a horse in the middle.

A bow crafted by the woodelves of the Crystalforrest.
