(continued from "The arrival" )

Shalisa storms down the street, half blinded from the angertears in her eyes. Who the hell did that silverdragon think she was? And she was not born yesterday. Dragons was wise yes, but they could not prodict the future. All that stuff was just a clever way to try to manipulate her to do what they wanted. Brainwashing!

She would have none of it! They could have their stupid academy for them selves, and make stupid rules if they wanted to. maybe humans or elves needed to forget about their past to concentrate on their studies, but not her. That arrogant dragon and silverelve thoguht they knew every darn little thing about every possible thing in the world.

She spits on the earth. Like they where gods. she could not stand people who thought they where better than everybody else!

Not far behind her a shadow glides through the streets, and because he still is big, many people walks out of her path as it is clear what he is after. A golddragon shinning even more out here in the sun as he glides high above the streets following the girl till she runs herself tired. When she finally stops, she glides down so he stands in front of her a meter away. He looks up at her, as she is tall and sits down on the street, like he doesn't care the trafic, which avoids him completely.
"Are you tired now Shalisa?"
His voice is calm, as he has to be the grownup here and he is thinking real hard on whatevery Mira would say, as she never would say the whole truth, but still enough to make the girl come back. This was really not his field but he would do anything for Mira, even make himself look like a fool.
He makes no indication that it was he, who a few moment back and thundered out at her, and had given her a last name as it was proper for some people. Calmly he waits for her to burst out, and pour out her heart letting her take the first steps.

"Yes i am tired. Tired of arrogant, stubborn, ignorant dragons and people"

She gaspingly says, and presses a hand against her side to ease the pain

"Leave me alone! Im going home! you can have your stupid academy for yourselves!"

Valor sits still, and listens to her angry words. She has cooled down from before he notice, which is a good thing as he were kind of afraid what would do if she went beserk out here.
He show no sign of anything as of yet but when she is finished he walks one step towards her and sits down again. Og how he hate when things like this happens.
"We all are arrogant, stubborn and ignorant to some degree. Silvermantle and Tesari are very much, but they are old, so are Mira which gives them a reason, as they have grown powerful too. But Mira believes in you, and you are willing to throw that away because of a fight with an elf?!"
He states it calmly and there are no attack in his voice, and his blue eyes just rests in her gaze without force of any kind. Sure he could force her back, but that wouldn't help nomatter how much he want to just to get this over with.

"Im not casting anything aside dragon, i was givven a choise and i made it! I will not - Can not forget my family. And what in all hells is that for a greeding to give newcommers? I have been verbaly attacked! Im not gonna take that, not from Mira, not from you, or from a silverdragon or elve, nomatter how old thei are! Maybe their brains has ovengrown with moss or something, since they are behaving like that! They are both mean!"

She slowly stands up, but her legs are shaking underneath her, and her feet hurts like never before. She leans to the nearest wall and sighs...

Valor stays put this time, as she apparently is to be treated as a scared animal, and he therefore can only make her listen as long as he stays calm. She has potential but she sure is young and Valor has no patience.
"Mira or I never attacked you, I know you are mad, but don't be unjust. Tesari and Silvermantle were unjust and I understand you are mad, but that shouldn't decide your whole carrier. You need the academy to teach you control, as your famil properly need you here. Neither I or Mira will tell you to forget anyone, just don't trust everyone."
As he sees her shaking legs he walks over to her and supports her the best way he can.

Shalisa hesistates a moment, but finaly she puts her arm around Valors shoulders and put her unspeakeble weight on him

"...thank you..."

She mumbles, not really ready to let go of her anger that by now more or less only covers her homesickness, and fright of the new, big and scary world. In the end she hang with her head.

"I know..."

She whispers....

"I like you and Mira. Or at least the feeling im getting from you. I just dont like the selvfish silvercouple. If Mira does not ask of me to turn my back on my family, i will gladly be her diciple. Their is something about her."

She turns her head to Valor and her eyes glow eagerly

"You know the feeling? The feeling when you see someone, and it feels like a little bell is ringling inside you? It kinda tickles, and you vibrate ind your skin? I havent felt that way before. I thought it might be something dragonrelated?"

There is a deep hope in her eyes for him to know the answer to her question

He looks at her, and have no idea what she talks about. He only knows one thing that could give such a feeling and that is something that makes him jaloux. He cannot hide an evil flash for a moment, but when he talks again his voice is calm. He gives her the benefit of the doubt and hopes for the best.
"Come, let us get home. I will show you to your room. And no, I have never felt such a thing, but I believe that many things in for the individual alone to know. You can talk to the older dragons if you needbetter answers as I am not old enough to know that yet."
She looks up at her, and something that looks like an encouraging smile is shown in his face.

"Oh...okay"

She sounds and looks dissapointed. She smiles back at him.

"Maybe you are right. Well. If im still welcome, i will gladly follow you, i suppose you are one of the few i can put my trust in"

Her smile becomes bigger and warmer - she liked the young dragon

He keeps on supporting her suprised how light she is, while he walks back towards the academy. It had been a tough job, that he defently weren't suited for, nomatter how much Mira would like him to. They had found a solution, but at times like now where she had no chance he had to fill out his place.
"Ofcause you are welcome, Mira failed the test to back then. Learned to give back at Tesari at some point, because they never did agree on that point. love your family, but in your heart."
He sys no more, and give no indication that he heard that she could trust him. he really didn't know, cause he weren't sure if the girl was good enough for Mira. He wasn't sure he wanted to share Mira. Mira was his, and no one elses. Now this girl comes, and he felt how Mira wanted her on her own team from the beginning. Did she want more than that?

Shalisa is just deadbeat. When they arrive at the academy again she sighs of relife, soon she could get some sleep and rest...
