Name: Terame (note: Terame was brought up at a monastery and was given no last name)
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Profession: Cleric
Age: 15
Deity: Bane

Appeareance:

Terame is 5 feet and 8 inches tall. His hair is short and dark, and his skin has a rather pale complexion. Though not very muscular, he is a handsome and calm-looking person. He has a pair of clear blue eyes that rarely blink and seem ever alert, constantly observing everything around them with meticulous care.

The only weapon he ever carries – though he prefers not to use it – is a mace.
Otherwise he is clad in modest clothing, though for combat purposes he is willing to wear armour for his protection.

Personality:

Terame is calm, level-headed and charismatic. He has a keen eye and always considers the consequences before he takes action. His confidence and rhetorical skills make him heard and listened to, and he is very good at taking charge of a situation and turning chaos into order.
Behind his calm exterior, however, is a cold and calculating mind that always tries to manipulate matters in his favour; while giving everyone the impression that he is trying to help everyone, he uses his malicious insight and force of personality to complete his own goals.
He is a very sore loser, and when the tide turns against him, there is almost no limit to the things he will do to regain his advantage. Being a Banite, he relies much on order and careful planning to accomplish his goals and has a natural dislike of breaking regulations. He is extremely patient and does not act rashly when he is insulted. Instead he takes time to plan his revenge and takes it when the time is right.

While he is confident, Terame is wise and not arrogant. He knows the limits of his own abilities, which makes him a valuable ally – or a dangerous enemy.

He will not kill innocents on a whim; Bane’s goal is to dominate and govern through fear, not to kill. Rather keep them alive that they may live in fear of what might happen should they stop serving the true God.

Background

Terame grew up as an orphan. Not because his parents had died, but because they were afraid of him. The soothsayer who, having foreseen more than one disaster, was respected by the locals said that he saw much evil in the boy child that had been born one Summer night. “If you keep that child, much harm will come to you.” But they did not want the child to perish, so they went to a monastery and delivered the child to be brought up there. The strange smile that formed on the cleric’s face as he took the child in his arms was a gesture that the parents mistook for a sign of affection. They thought the child would be safe here.

But this was no ordinary monastery. Unknown to all the locals, the clerics who resided there were agents of Bane, the Tyrant God. And from a very early moment they saw great potential in this child who had been brought to them. They taught him of the written word, and they taught him to be patient. They taught him that Bane was his God and that he had a great destiny ahead of him.
He was not a strong child, but compensated by having a quick wit and a talent for persuasion.

When he grew older, they sent him to the great university to learn more. The skills that allegedly could be learnt there could be of great benefit to Lord Bane.
But he was not to advertise his faith. Better to let the other students believe that he had the best intentions…

Lacking any wealth, most of his equipment is fairly simple and he has no extravagant clothes or equipment.
