Have you ever dreams about playing a half-dragon. Then you should check this place out. It is an RPG where you write what/how your character reacts/interact with other character (or NPCs). This site is still under construction.

PostSubject: How to write in a thread/post   Fri Apr 04, 2008 2:21 pm

In order to communicate with each person on this forum it has been decided to make a few simple rules when writing a new post or replying to a post. In order for everyone to know is said, though and done the following should be utilized.

bold is used to indicate words said by the charater to other characters.
italic is used to indicate what the character is thinking. Most of the time this is used to personalify the character and explain his/her mood.
ordinaly text is used to indicate actions of the character. What does the character do.
underline is used to indicate a link to another place on this forum. Links referring to sites outside this forum is not allowed without the propper permission.

A FEW NEW RULES

Timing

Day and time are to be written in the top of a thread as one makes it. In this way people know the timeline, and the player can now be on multiple threads and still don't break reality.
Example:
Tuesday - 3.00 pm

The sun floated high in the blue sky and ... [etc]

Single post threads.

Another rule is that no single or twice post thread are allowed. They will be deleted as soon as a mod or admin finds out, and if they continue a warning will be send. Now one can be on multiple threads and the threads have no timelimit IRL, so please do not make them. If the things are to happen in your characters life then imagine it, or write a diary for your character. We will make a board soelly for yuor characters where you can make a thread, that is your characters diary. Here is an example of what you are not supposed to do!
Example:
bob slided down the slope and landed just by the staue of the main hall. He loved to slide down, and was always running around, like a mouse of mushrooms. A growl was heard, and he squeezed his stomach. He was actually kind of hungry right now, maybe he should go and check what they had in the dining hall. if he were lucky they would give him something even though he was early.
He quickly ran off leaving the main hall empty and silent.

Size:

To make this site a great experience for everyone, we encourage people to write more than oneliners as they are called. If you would all try to make at least three lines, the gaming experience would be better for everyone, and no one can give feedback on a post written like this.
Cole came in the bar and ordered a drink.
At least try to describe your character and maybe the sorrounding. What drink is it, if that is important, and the mood Cole is in. I personally wouldn't know what to write to a post looking like this.

Ending:

To make the work of the moderaters and the admin a lot easier, so we can clean up this site once in a while, we would like you to write ((out)) once your character leaves the thread, or **END** if the thread is finished. Then we can move it to the basket, and the mess gets cleaned up.

You have any questions you are more than welcome to write a pm to me, or ask in questions and answers.^^
